Some Of The Jobs We Have Completed
The info on this page is being moved to the individual service pages.
We are proud of the work we carry out and want to show our customers what to expect when hiring us, making it easier for you to see that we are the right company for you.
Here are some examples of work that Property Maintenance Gloucester has completed. We have put this page together to give you an idea of the quality of our work. Window RepairsThis house is a little unusual in that it has uPVC double glazing inside timber frames. The owners wanted to repair the wooden parts of the windows and give them a good paint as they need them to last a little longer while they save up to get them completely replaced.
These windows needed a lot of repair work as there was a fair bit of rot in them where previous owners hadn't repaired or painted them for some time. The rotten wood was removed, the holes and gaps filled, a decent coat of primer paint applied before painting on a couple of coats of topcoat. There were cracks in the render which were repaired before painting it and a fair bit of repointing needed doing at the back of the property. The guttering was also replaced as it had warped causing water to gush down when it rained hard. Interior Painting And DecoratingAs with all our jobs, we carefully listen to what the customer wants and create a unique package just for them. All cutting in is done by hand so there aren't any annoying bleeding marks left behind that is so commonly found when using tape.
The painting of this room with the feature fireplace was done using a brush only. A job is completed quicker using rollers but colour coverage is more even using a brush. As you can see it has created a stunning feature.
This room had an interesting feature at the end of the built-in wardrobe where the wall went back in graduations. A lovely warm colour was chosen for this room which complements it well.
All woodwork that is to be glossed is thoroughly sanded down before the decorators start painting. This gives a lovely smooth finish once the coats of gloss have dried. Exterior PaintingThis was a simple sand down and paint job on these unique wooden windows. Only a small amount of repair work was needed on the sash window at the back including replacing the cord. It is always nice to see original wooden windows still in place and ones that have been well looked after over the years.
Remember that if you regularly have your wooden windows and doors sanded back and painted they will outlast any uPVC. So don't wait until the paint has flaked off and the weather has taken its toll on your windows. Painting of wooden windows and doors and a metal garage door was undertaken at this property.
Just as happy to work with metal as wood. This includes garage doors, gates, fences and the occasional piece of outdoor artwork. Again, a thorough sanding down is carried out before the layers of undercoat and gloss are applied. All the products and equipment used on any job are of professional quality. The wooden fascia boards needed replacing and the render needed a bit of repair before decorating the outside of this house a lovely vibrant colour. Enough to cheer anyone up on a gloomy day.
